Established in 2005, Svay Rieng University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Svay Rieng (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of Cambodia, Svay Rieng University (SRU) is a small coeducational Cambodian higher education institution. Svay Rieng University (SRU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 17 years old Cambodian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. SRU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, financial aids and/or scholarships, as well as administrative services.
