Founded in 2010, Syddansk Musikkonservatorium (Danish National Academy of Music) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the small city of Odense (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Region of Southern Denmark. This institution also has a branch campus in Esbjerg. Officially recognized by the Kulturministeriet, Danmark (Ministry of Culture of Denmark), Syddansk Musikkonservatorium (SDMK) is a very small coeducational Danish higher education institution. Syddansk Musikkonservatorium (SDMK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study.
