Established in 1989, Taiwan Hospitality and Tourism University is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Shoufeng (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Hualien County. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education of Taiwan, Taiwan Hospitality and Tourism University (THTU) is a coeducational Taiwanese higher education institution. Taiwan Hospitality and Tourism University (THTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. THTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
