Founded in 1993, Taiz University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Taiz (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Yemen, Taiz University (TU) is a coeducational Yemeni higher education institution. Taiz University (TU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. TU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
