Founded in 1947, Tajik National University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Dushanbe (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan, Tajik National University (TNU) is a large coeducational Tajikistani higher education institution. Tajik National University (TNU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. TNU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
