Founded in 1950, Tamale Technical University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Tamale (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Northern Region. Officially recognized by the National Accreditation Board, Ghana (National Accreditation Board of Ghana), Tamale Technical University (TTU) is a coeducational Ghanaian higher education institution. Tamale Technical University (TTU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. TTU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
