Founded in 1995, Technical and Vocational University is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Tehran (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has a branch campus in 176 other locations nationwide. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology of Iran, Technical and Vocational University (TVU) is a very large coeducational Iranian higher education institution. Technical and Vocational University (TVU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study. TVU also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
