Founded in 1977, Technical University of Crete is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the small city of Chania (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Crete. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs of Greece, Technical University of Crete (TUC) is a small coeducational Greek higher education institution. Technical University of Crete (TUC) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees, doctorate degrees in several areas of study. This 45 years old Greek higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. TUC also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
