Founded in 2012, The University of Barotseland is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Mongu (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Western Province. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher Education of Zambia, The University of Barotseland (UBL) is a coeducational Zambian higher education institution. The University of Barotseland (UBL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UBL also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
