Founded in 2007, The University of Dodoma is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the medium city of Dodoma (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Tanzania Commission for Universities, The University of Dodoma (UDOM) is a large coeducational Tanzanian higher education institution. The University of Dodoma (UDOM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UDOM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
