Established in 1981, Tokai Gakuin University is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Kakamigahara (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Gifu. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Tokai Gakuin University is a women only Japanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Buddhist religion.
