Established in 1931, Toshkent Davlat Iqtisodiyot Universiteti (Tashkent State University of Economics) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Tashkent (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Toshkent Davlat Iqtisodiyot Universiteti (TDIU) is a small coeducational Uzbekistani higher education institution. Toshkent Davlat Iqtisodiyot Universiteti (TDIU) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
