Established in 1989, Toyo Eiwa University is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the suburban setting of the metropolis of Yokohama (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Kanagawa. Officially recognized by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan, Toyo Eiwa University is a small women only Japanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Protestant religion.
