Established in 1997, Universidad Anunciata (Anunciata University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large town of Rivas (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Universidades, Nicaragua (National Council of Universities of Nicaragua), Universidad Anunciata is a very small coeducational Nicaraguan higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universidad Anunciata offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. Universidad Anunciata also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
