Established in 1990, Universidad Bernardo O'Higgins (Bernardo O'Higgins University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Santiago (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Region Metropolitana de Santiago. Officially recognized by the Comisión Nacional de Acreditación, Chile (National Accreditation Commission), Universidad Bernardo O'Higgins (UBO) is a small coeducational Chilean higher education institution. Universidad Bernardo O'Higgins (UBO) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UBO also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
