Founded in 1988, Universidad Bolivariana (Bolivariana University) is a for-profit private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Santiago (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Region Metropolitana de Santiago. Officially recognized by the Comisión Nacional de Acreditación, Chile (National Accreditation Commission), Universidad Bolivariana (UB) is a small coeducational Chilean higher education institution. Universidad Bolivariana (UB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
