Established in 1998, Universidad Cientifica del Sur (Scientific University of the South) is a private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Lima (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación, Peru (Ministry of Education of Peru), Universidad Cientifica del Sur (UCS) is a small coeducational Peruvian higher education institution. Universidad Cientifica del Sur (UCS) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
