Established in 2012, Universidad de Artemisa (University of Artemisa) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Artemisa (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Cuba (Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba), Universidad de Artemisa (UA) is a small coeducational Cuban higher education institution. Universidad de Artemisa (UA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including online courses and distance learning opportunities, as well as administrative services.
