Founded in 1961, Universidad de Ciencias de la Cultura Física y el Deporte Manuel Fajardo (Manuel Fajardo University of Sciences of Physical Culture and Sport) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Havana (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), La Habana. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Superior, Cuba (Ministry of Higher Education of Cuba), Universidad de Ciencias de la Cultura Física y el Deporte Manuel Fajardo (UCCFD) is a small coeducational Cuban higher education institution. Universidad de Ciencias de la Cultura Física y el Deporte Manuel Fajardo (UCCFD) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UCCFD also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
