Established in 1979, Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Cienfuegos (Medical University of Cienfuegos) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the medium city of Cienfuegos (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Salud Pública, Cuba (Ministry of Public Health of Cuba), Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Cienfuegos (UCMCF) is a small coeducational Cuban higher education institution.
