Founded in 1983, Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Las Tunas (Medical University of Las Tunas) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Las Tunas (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Salud Pública, Cuba (Ministry of Public Health of Cuba), Universidad de Ciencias Médicas de Las Tunas (UCMLT) is a small coeducational Cuban higher education institution.
