Established in 1992, Universidad de la Empresa (University of Enterprise) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the metropolis of Montevideo (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación y Cultura, Uruguay (Ministry of Education and Culture of Uruguay), Universidad de la Empresa (UDE) is a very small coeducational Uruguayan higher education institution.
