Founded in 2010, Universidad de Lambayeque (University of Lambayeque) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Chiclayo (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Lambayeque. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación, Peru (Ministry of Education of Peru), Universidad de Lambayeque (UdL) is a coeducational Peruvian higher education institution. Universidad de Lambayeque (UdL) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UdL also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
