Founded in 1998, Universidad de Managua (University of Managua) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Managua (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Universidades, Nicaragua (National Council of Universities of Nicaragua), Universidad de Managua (UdeM) is a coeducational Nicaraguan higher education institution. Universidad de Managua (UdeM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UdeM also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
