Founded in 1987, Universidad del Alba (Pedro de Valdivia University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Santiago (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants), Region Metropolitana de Santiago. Officially recognized by the Comisión Nacional de Acreditación, Chile (National Accreditation Commission), Universidad del Alba (UPV) is a medium-sized coeducational Chilean higher education institution. Universidad del Alba (UPV) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
