Founded in 1962, Universidad del Pacifico (University of the Pacific) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the large metropolis of Lima (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación, Peru (Ministry of Education of Peru), Universidad del Pacifico (UP) is a small coeducational Peruvian higher education institution.
