Established in 1989, Universidad Estatal de Bolívar (State University of Bolívar, Guaranda) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Guaranda (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Bolivar. Officially recognized by the Consejo de Aseguramiento de la Calidad de la Educación Superior del Ecuador (Council for Quality Assurance of Higher Education of Ecuador), Universidad Estatal de Bolívar (UEB) is a coeducational Ecuadorian higher education institution. Universidad Estatal de Bolívar (UEB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
