Established in 1981, Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador (Evangelical University of El Salvador) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of San Salvador (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación, República de El Salvador (Ministry of Education of El Salvador), Universidad Evangélica de El Salvador (UEES) is a coeducational Salvadoran higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Evangelical religion.
