Established in 1996, Universidad Iberoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnologia (Ibero-American University of Science and Technology, Nicaragua) is a higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Managua (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Universidades, Nicaragua (National Council of Universities of Nicaragua), Universidad Iberoamericana de Ciencia y Tecnologia (UNICIT) is a coeducational Nicaraguan higher education institution.
