Founded in 1967, Universidad Latina (Latin University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Mexico City (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Cuautla, Cuernavaca. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Universidad Latina (UNILA) is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution. Universidad Latina (UNILA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UNILA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
