Founded in 1990, Universidad Marcelino Champagnat (Marcelino Champagnat University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Lima (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación, Peru (Ministry of Education of Peru), Universidad Marcelino Champagnat (UMCh) is a coeducational Peruvian higher education institution.
