Established in 1967, Universidad Mariana (Marian University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Pasto (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Narino. Officially recognized by the Ministerio de Educación Nacional, Colombia (Ministry of National Education of Colombia), Universidad Mariana (UMARIANA) is a small coeducational Colombian higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion.
