Founded in 1991, Universidad Nacional de Pilar (National University of Pilar) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large town of Pilar (population range of 10,000-49,999 inhabitants), Neembucu. Officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Educación Superior, Paraguay (National Council of Higher Education of Paraguay), Universidad Nacional de Pilar (UNP) is a coeducational Paraguayan higher education institution. Universidad Nacional de Pilar (UNP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
