Established in 2007, Universidad Politécnica de Ingeniería (Polytechnic University of Engineering) is a private higher-education institution located in the large city of Comayagüela (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants), Francisco Morazan. Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación de Honduras (Ministry of Education of Honduras), Universidad Politécnica de Ingeniería (UPI) is a coeducational Honduran higher education institution. Universidad Politécnica de Ingeniería (UPI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
