Established in 1992, Universidad Privada del Este (Private University of the East) is a private higher-education institution located in the small city of Presidente Franco (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Alto Parana. Officially recognized by the Consejo Nacional de Educación Superior, Paraguay (National Council of Higher Education of Paraguay), Universidad Privada del Este (UPE) is a coeducational Paraguayan higher education institution. Universidad Privada del Este (UPE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. UPE also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
