Established in 1972, Universidad Salesiana (Salesian University) is a private higher-education institution located in the large metropolis of Mexico City (population range of over 5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Secretaría de Educación Pública, Mexico (Secretariat of Public Education of Mexico), Universidad Salesiana is a coeducational Mexican higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Universidad Salesiana offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. Universidad Salesiana also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
