Established in 1986, Universidade Europeia (European University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Lisbon (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Lisboa. Officially recognized by the Ministério da Ciência, Tecnologia e Ensino Superior, Portugal (Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education of Portugal), Universidade Europeia (UE) is a coeducational Portuguese higher education institution. Universidade Europeia (UE) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
