Established in 2006, Universidade Lúrio (Lúrio University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the large city of Nampula (population range of 500,000-1,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministério de Educação e Desenvolvimento Humano, Mozambique (Ministry of Education and Human Development of Mozambique), Universidade Lúrio (UniLúrio) is a very small coeducational Mozambican higher education institution. Universidade Lúrio (UniLúrio) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UniLúrio also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including sports facilities, as well as administrative services.
