Established in 2012, Université Amadou Mahtar Mbow (Amadou Mahtar Mbow University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Dakar (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement supérieur et de la Recherche, Senegal (Ministry of Higher Education and Research of Senegal), Université Amadou Mahtar Mbow (UAM) is a coeducational Senegalese higher education institution. Université Amadou Mahtar Mbow (UAM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study.
