Founded in 1996, Université Antonine (Antonine University) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the medium city of Hadath-Baabda (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Mount Lebanon. This institution also has branch campuses in the following locations: Zahlé, Mejdlaya-Zgharta. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Education et de l'Enseignement supérieur, Liban (Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Lebanon), Université Antonine (UA) is a small coeducational Lebanese higher education institution formally affiliated with the Christian-Catholic religion. Université Antonine (UA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 26 years old Lebanese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment. UA also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, housing, sports facilities, financial aids and/or scholarships, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
