Established in 1987, Université de Carthage (University of Carthage) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Tunis (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Tunisie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia), Université de Carthage (UCAR) is a very large coeducational Tunisian higher education institution. Université de Carthage (UCAR) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UCAR also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, sports facilities, study abroad and exchange programs, as well as administrative services.
