Established in 1977, Université de Douala (University of Douala) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Douala (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Littoral Region. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, Cameroun (Ministry of Higher Education of Cameroon), Université de Douala (UDLA) is a medium-sized coeducational Cameroonian higher education institution. Université de Douala (UDLA) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. This 45 years old Cameroonian higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations.
