Established in 2004, Université de Fondwa (University of Fondwa) is a non-profit private higher-education institution located in the rural setting of the small city of Leogane (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), South East Department. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Éducation Nationale et de la Formation Professionnelle, Haiti (Ministry of National Education and Vocational Training of Haiti), Université de Fondwa (UNIF) is a coeducational Haitian higher education institution. Université de Fondwa (UNIF) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UNIF also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
