Founded in 1993, Université de Kamina (University of Kamina) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Kamina (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants), Haut-Lomami. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et Universitaire, République Démocratique du Congo (Ministry of Higher and University Education of the Democratic Republic of the Congo), Université de Kamina (UNIKAM) is a small coeducational Congolese higher education institution. Université de Kamina (UNIKAM) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. This 29 years old Congolese higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on entrance examinations and students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.
