Founded in 2005, Université de Kindu (University of Kindu) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Kindu (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Maniema. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et Universitaire, République Démocratique du Congo (Ministry of Higher and University Education of the Democratic Republic of the Congo), Université de Kindu (UNIKI) is a coeducational Congolese higher education institution. Université de Kindu (UNIKI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees in several areas of study. UNIKI also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
