Established in 2001, Université de Parakou (University of Parakou) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Parakou (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Borgou. Officially recognized by the Ministère de lEnseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Benin (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Benin), Université de Parakou (UP) is a coeducational Beninese higher education institution. Université de Parakou (UP) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UP also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
