Established in 1960, Université du Burundi (University of Burundi) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Bujumbura (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants), Bujumbura Mairie. Officially recognized by the Ministère de lEnseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Burundi (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Burundi), Université du Burundi (UB) is a large coeducational Burundi higher education institution. Université du Burundi (UB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study.
