Established in 1964, Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny (Félix Houphouët-Boigny University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Abidjan (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique de Côte d'Ivoire (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of the Ivory Coast), Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny (UFHB) is a very large coeducational Ivorian higher education institution. Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny (UFHB) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UFHB also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
