Founded in 1997, Université Hassan 1er (Hassan 1er University) is a non-profit public higher-education institution located in the small city of Settat (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Beni Mellal-Khenifra. Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique et de la Formation des Cadres (Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Professional Training of Morocco), Université Hassan 1er (UH1) is a coeducational Moroccan higher education institution. Université Hassan 1er (UH1) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees in several areas of study. UH1 also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
