Established in 2005, Université Ibn Khaldoun (Ibn Khaldoun University) is a private higher-education institution located in the metropolis of Tunis (population range of 1,000,000-5,000,000 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministère de l'Enseignement Supérieur et de la Recherche Scientifique, Tunisie (Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research of Tunisia), Université Ibn Khaldoun (UIK) is a coeducational Tunisian higher education institution. Université Ibn Khaldoun (UIK) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as pre-bachelor degrees (i.e. certificates, diplomas, associate or foundation), bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. UIK also provides several academic and non-academic facilities and services to students including a library, as well as administrative services.
